Paul Griffin came to us after being recommended.
Paul, like many knew he needed a website but other than that didn't really know what he wanted, how it should look or what name it should have. We discussed all the pros and cons and eventually arrived at www.griffinroofing.co.uk which is his business name.
Having secured the name for him and set him up with an email account we produced a potential design for Paul who immediately gave it the thumbs up. We shared a Dropbox account for images and within a very short time we had a simple local business website showcasing Griffin Roofing.
We have set the site up for various keywords to try to get the site ranking well locally in North Devon and we will be checking back on this to make sure the site has the best chance of doing so. We do not abandon our customers to the minefield of Search Engine Optimisation unless they are happy on their own - I dont think anyone ever is!
There is a blog on the site which we have started off for Paul who is rightly nervous about where to start. Each to his own of course, I'm not going to fix your roof ! We are always keen to make sure every customer knows what they are doing with their site when it goes live and fully understand that the whole process might be extremely daunting.
The Blog can be found and subscribed to it from the button on this page : https://www.griffinroofing.co.uk/blog

A huge collection of Blinds and Shutters!
Chris came to me with a logo that was part of the business and lots of great images of their work.
He had seen a website where all the images had prices displayed clearly on them, which he clearly liked. Apart from that we had a free rein to produce a shiny bright business front where it is really obvious to the viewer where they should be going.
The website has several image galleries which Chris is able to add to himself very easily and now he knows how they can look on the website there will be plenty more added in the future.
The blog is going to be used as an education tool to try to get "shares" and "likes" on social media which will inform more and more customers where to find a great solution to house and office windows. The first blog is a competition which is shared to social media, this is a great idea to get things moving along rapidly.
The site looks great on mobile devices, the images fill the screens and look fantastic.
Look out for another website coming along for this company soon!

This is a very simple small site, basically designed around the purple header image which was a "Vistaprint" business card logo that Paul (Taff) had chosen some time ago and he wanted the site to have the same feel.
So plenty of homepage areas to get in the important keywords that Google likes so that this site can rank well locally but also nationally as the business can take the owner all over Europe.
Secure transportation of valuable and treasured items is the speciality and Taff wanted to show that he was professional and reliable by having his own web presence.
The site is fully mobile compliant and ready to take a blog system in the next few months when the owner is ready.
It clearly displays what his business is all about, the options to the customer and a simple means of getting in touch. We are working on the "optimisation" of the site now to give it the best chances to rank well on Google.

A shop with some very unusual requirements
This is a full Ecommerce shop designed to showcase fabrics for a new onlone company that has been in a retail shop for many many years.
Fabric is a really difficult product to showcase and to sell. So many different widths and lengths to contend with.
Samples also were a challenge as the owner wanted to be able to sell small samples of fabric with specific postage requirements, so the user could buy a sample and get postage for exactly £1 within the same confinements of the shop as everything else, that was an interesting brainstorm!
We were able to provide a specific customisation for this shop that allowed the user to select a length within the product page, this was a challenge but obviously crucial to a shop of this type,
Like all our shops this one features a totally single page checkout process. No cumbersome clicks through to add addresses and postage and then payment etc. Everything is taken care of on site before sending the customer to Paypal or in this case Worldpay for secure payment.
The site makes great use of our blog too. Getting Social Media right is so important, especially for a totally new site and a blog is a great way to persuade Google that the site is busy and changing regularly
