Bideford Conservative Club are at pains to make you aware that they are not affiliated with any political party, hence the name "The Con Club" and the distinct lack of any Conservative Blue on the website!
The committee had an idea that they wanted to publicise their weekly events to their members and to prospective members. They had a couple of volunteer members that knew nothing about websites but were willing to learn - that is all you need!
We provide you with all the training you will need to be able to update your website, we can do this personally depending on location but it is often easier to give you screen recordings that never expire that you can use to remind yourself of the processes involved. All these recordings are specific to you and your site and in the event that you need a hand, we are always available at no cost to help you out.
For this site so far one of the volunteers has updated the Coming Events extension which automatically shows in lots of places on the new site and also the "News" blog with an image gallery. They had never done anything like this before and despite worrying about being able to manage they have done a great job and will now be able to keep the members updated.

1. Do you have a volunteer willing to learn from some simple videos?
2. You will need a single person to liaise with us regarding the design - committees never make a decision!
3. Website CONTENT - Content is everything, we can only build you a website if you provide us with the content to do it. You will usually need a good photographer to start with.

A complete rebuild of The Police Firearms Officers Association website which we first built for them over 10 years ago. It was time for a new look and a few more functions even though the old website was still taking new subscribed members every day and managing it well.
We are always delighted to rebuild a website, after all it means the owner was happy with the first version!
The PFOA are very close to our hearts and we are always delighted to be able to work with and for such a worthwhile charity.
The website doesn't have a login system which can always cause a lot of extra hassle for the owners, but it does allow Police Officers and Staff to join the charity online using various methods that suit the user.
The charity relies heavily on sponsors and supporters so we have recreated sections of the supporter's websites, with permission of course, on the new PFOA website which will hopefully attract new sponsors in the future.

Mobile Disco in Kernow is actually two websites in one. The owner Dave is also Westcountry Event Services and the website serves both businesses and saves Dave from having to manage two sites.
Dave used to own the domain name westcountryeventservices.co.uk but it had got "lost" with a previous host so we managed to get this back for him. If you click the link you will see how it enters the website on one of the middle pages and the site has a different colour scheme between the Homepage and the other business, even down to the logo changing depending on what page you are on.
The new website has multiple "services" on their own pages. All of these pages are optimised so that we can direct Google searching customers to the right page.
The page is built with a new "Page Builder" which is very easy for Dave to login to and make adjustments. All our sites are built with this in mind so that, if you want it, you can have full control of the site content.
This site links to the new business Youtube Channel so as they upload new videos to it we can display them on the website. If you need a hand setting up social media pages like YouTube that is all part of the service we will provide you and will not be charged as an extra - it is an essential service!
It is a big website with lots of great content for Google to get its teeth into and we have high hopes that it will rank well and bring it lots of new business.

This is pretty much two websites in one - The Bremco information website with a huge product catalogue which seamlessly, but obviously links in as a catalogue so the user feels they are using it. This is achieved by using the Virtuemart Joomla component which is designed to work as a shop but we are only using the catalogue side.
So the Bremco staff with the aid of screen video training recordings are now able to build up a huge amount of products on their new website that they were previously unable to do, or had to pay a developer far too much to do for them.
Linking to things like Google reviews have now become an essential part of building a website, do you properly manage your Google business page?
