Royal North Devon Golf Club need a web presence to promote the club around the world and for the members to keep track of their weekends activities! The site is huge now and gets regular input from various members. The site is fully optimized to come right at the top on the search engines and as a result the takings for "green fees" have gone up almost 10% last year !

In 2009 Gingerweb created our new web site giving much more information for both members and visitors, e.g.: Open competitions, Tee times, Competition results. The new web site is easy to use and much more attractive with sharper photo’s.  Any changes that needed or problems arising have been quickly and satisfactorily dealt with.

Continuing the Golf Theme - a similar community site for Holsworthy Golf Club. Again the site is built to accommodate the members and the seperate sections. Each section has a webmaster, usually with a little computer knowledge, but with a little training and some carefully written instructions anyone can add articles and create menu's ! There are currently 6 different people contributing to this site which keeps it interesting to the members.

Definately a pattern developing ! This site again has many contributors but its particular relevance is that unless you are an authorized member you cannot see the private data which for obvious reasons need to be kept to members only !

Chris Gill is a Pro Golfer from Exeter Golf and Country Club. Chris has played in several European Tour events, including the PGA at Wentworth this year. Chris plays many Pro-Am events and uses his blog to update all his friends, playing mates and pupils on how he is getting on. Chris will happily tell you that he is not a techy - but he has mastered the updating of his website with ease. It is really simple to do and Chris is making a great job of it !
